Selector- Cuisinart DGB-900BC Grind & Brew Coffee Maker has a selector from which you can select mild, medium, or strong coffee. You can also select how many cups of coffee you're going to make. If you want to make twelve cups of coffee then just select twelve.
Grind-off feature- It has a grind-off feature. In case you run out of whole beans. You can use ground coffee too. Just turn off the grind function.
Program Button- Cuisinart DGB-900BC Grind & Brew Coffee Maker has a program button so you can program it to go off during any 24 hours period. So if you want to wake up to fresh coffee in the morning, it's fabulous. And then it has an on/off button and a clock.
Bean Hopper- Cuisinart DGB-900BC Grind & Brew Coffee Maker has a bean hopper where you can put your beans. This hopper holds a half pound of whole beans. The other great thing about it is that it has a cover that also has a seal so it keeps the air out. For this, it doesn't affect the flavor of your beans.
Another thing that's really nice is that it has a little door. Inside the door, the coffee will be delivered after the ground.
Reusable Filter- It has a gold-tone cupcake-style filter. You can also use a paper filter if you want. The major difference between using a Gold Tone filter and a paper filter is, with the Gold tone filter you have a little more sediment in the bottom of your coffee. And that's what we call more European-style coffee.
If you use the paper filter, you won't have any sediment in your coffee.

Water Filter- It does have a water filter, and it has a water reservoir.
The display looks very modern and nice. It's got a nice display with a brew button. With Cuisinart's, sometimes things can get a little complicated with the buttons, but it's not too bad.
Release Button- Cuisinart DGB-800 Fully Automatic Burr Grind & Brew has a release button. This button releases the coffee basket. So it's going to grind the coffee and put it and then it's going to shoot the hot water over it.
Reusable Filter- It does come with a reusable filter, but you can use a paper filter. So you can use a basket-style eight to twelve-cup paper filter, but you can't use both. It's either the reusable filter or the paper filter.
Carafe- Cuisinart DGB-800 Fully Automatic Burr Grind & Brew has a standard glass carafe. Again, the other model number will have a stainless steel craft. It will be ten cups. And that will not be a warming plate. But this is a warming plate. It's going to keep our coffee warm. We can adjust that from zero to four hours.
Display- The display is kind of dim when it's off. To turn the coffee maker on, you just press the on/off button and it kind of brightens up a little bit.
If you want to just put regular coffee beans in the filter if you want to just put ground coffee in the filter and not grind your coffee, you can do that by turning the grinder off.
Strength Control- It's got a strength control. Just press the strength. It's got three strengths. The first bar is regular bold, and extra bold. Then you'll get the program. you'll get auto on, auto off, and then the strength.
And then when you're ready to brew, you just turn the selector. This says the ground control. It's how many cups you want to brew. So it's twelve cups. Four cups are the minimum. Four, six, eight, ten, and twelve. So the grinder will grind the appropriate amount of coffee beans to give you the right brew.
For that amount, you have to add the correct amount of water. So if you want twelve cups, have to add twelve cups of water in the back.
And then when you're ready to brew, you just turn the selector. This says the ground control. It's how many cups you want to brew. So it's twelve cups.
